The menu showcases a range of delectable offerings, including the celebrated Shakey's Classics. For those craving something hearty, the Ultimate Meat Pizza is a meat lover's dream, loaded with spicy Italian sausage, ground beef, pepperoni, ham, salami, and bacon. The vegetarian choices, like the Garden Veggie Pizza, also promise to impress with their fresh ingredients.
But pizza isn't the only highlight here; Shakey's is renowned for its Golden Fried Chicken, hand-breaded and perfectly fried to golden perfection. As one customer aptly noted, the place not only delivers on taste but also provides consistently fresh food—hot unless you opt for a crisp salad.
If you're looking for a quick bite, the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich Combo is a worthy choice, featuring all-white meat chicken strips on a toasted brioche bun, complemented by the beloved Mojos. And let’s not forget the self-serve drinks and salad bar, which adds to the buffet-style charm that many customers remember from their youth.
Although Shakey's can get busy, especially on weekends, the staff remains efficient and professional, making your dining experience seamless. While some patrons have noted the chaos that can ensue during peak hours, the team always works hard to keep things tidy and pleasant for everyone.

This place is wonderful for families, and the employees are so friendly; they seem to genuinely like kids,. I really appreciate the kindness of everyone who works here.

Great selection of pizza, salads, and self serve fountain drinks. The service was quick process to order and pay. We were lucky enough to arrive several minutes before it got full.

This is really the last old school nostalgia Pizza Parlor type of place that I'm aware. I didn't grew up in California, so the nostalgia is not really there for me for this brand specifically, but it definitely harkens back to my high school years and it was always enjoyable to come to the lunch buffet w my work colleagues, but I don't work near one anymore, and when I came in on the weekend, I found out they didn't have the buffet which I was looking so forward to! They can get super busy, but the staff stays pretty efficient and pleasantly professional. Depending on how busy it gets, it can start to look shoddy if they have too many tables get up at once, but they're generally quick to clean things up as fast as they can. You'll always get hot fresh food (unless it's a crisp cold salad) and it's mostly still a value compared to today's overpriced world.

Listen guys...First off, there was a chinese man that constantly chooses to piss all over the blocked off urinals as opposed to the working ones. I walked into the little boys room and was met with a big thunder mountain style splash down. This guy was pissing up a god damned storm. the mojos were great.

The service was great!!! They truly make you feel like family! The food was nice and hot and tasty! The music felt like my own playlist!

Holy moly! The Mojos never disappoint. Time after time, Shakey's delivers on their signature Mojos. These crispy, seasoned potato slices are an absolute delight and consistently hit the mark. Shakey's fried chicken is another solid offering. It's juicy, well-seasoned, and has a nice crunch. While it might not be the best fried chicken out there, it's definitely satisfying and complements the Mojos perfectly. To be honest, the pizza at Shakey's is just a notch above school pizza. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great. The crust tends to be a bit bland, and the toppings, while decent, don't elevate the pizza to anything special. The salad bar left much to be desired. The ingredients were fresh, but the selection was quite basic and uninspired. If you're looking for a standout salad experience, Shakey's probably won't be your go-to spot. Despite some shortcomings, the value of Shakey's lunch buffet is undeniable. For the price, you get a variety of options, and it's hard to beat the satisfaction of all-you-can-eat Mojos and fried chicken.

Shakey's Pizza is a childhood classic for many, and their iconic pizza brings back a wave of nostalgia. I recently ventured into the Burbank Shakey's to try their lunch buffet, hoping to relive some happy memories. The buffet offered a decent selection of pizzas, ranging from classics like pepperoni and sausage to more adventurous options like BBQ chicken and veggie supreme. There were also pasta dishes, fried chicken, salad fixings, and even dessert. However, the limited selection, inconsistent quality, and noisy atmosphere might not be for everyone. If you're looking for a high-end buffet experience or diverse food options, you might want to consider other choices.

Visited this Shakey's that was near our hotel, and it's just as I remember it! Food was fresh, pizza was delicious and the staff was friendly! They had on the local games on the TVs and some arcade games to play. Always love visiting when we are in CA!
